Artwork for my Master of Fine Arts involves the political aspects of hysterectomies. My hope is to alter the easily accepted approval of this medical procedure and to encourage people to educate themselves and look at the HERS Foundation website before having this surgery. www.hersfoundation.com

My artwork includes a beaded velvet uterus, embroidered shawl, and uterus prayer flags.
